The EBSCOhost platform will be migrating to a new user interface in January/February, 2025. While most content from your MyEBSCO profile will be synced to the new platform, the following will need to be manually moved:

  • Any content saved in custom folders* including
    • Saved searches
    • Saved items (articles, eBooks, images, videos)
  • Search alerts
  • Journal/publication alerts

* These are folders you have created yourself - content saved in the default MyEBSCO folder will be migrated automatically.

We recommend that you follow the guides below if you would like to keep access to your content.

Search alerts

Search alerts will need to be created again in the new user interface.

  1. Save your old search alert as a saved search (instructions | video)
  2. Run the saved search in the new interface (when available) and create a new search alert (video)

Old search alerts will still run until mid-2025, so it is recommended that you delete the old alerts after you have created the new ones to avoid duplicate alerts.

Journal/publication alerts

Old journal/publication alerts will still run until mid-2025, so it is recommended that you delete the old alerts after you have created the new ones to avoid duplicate alerts.
