Borrowing Books from the Library

The majority of our collection is available online - start with Library Search.

You can borrow physical books by visiting your campus Library: Hours & Locations.

Borrowing limits

• Borrow up to 10 books at a time
• Loan period: 14 days
• Loans auto-renew up to 2 times (unless another student places a hold)
• If a hold is placed, you’ll receive an email asking you to return the book by the due date

Borrowing and returning books on campus

• Campus libraries have self-service machines for borrowing, renewing, and returning (student card required for borrowing and renewing)
• All libraries have return boxes next to the self-service machine - return the book using the self-service machine before placing it in the return box to ensure it is returned in our system
• During staffed hours, Library staff can help you borrow, renew, and return items

If the self-service machine is out of service

• Ask Library staff for help during staffed hours, or
• Submit a request using the Book Loan and Return Form
