What are the differences between an introduction and a conclusion paragraphs?

Answer

The introduction paragraph introduces the topic of your paper. Starting with some background information it provides an outline of what will be discussed in the body of the essay or report.

The conclusion paragraph provides a summary of the discussion in the body paragraphs and your opinion on the essay topic.

Both are around 10% of the word count each.
